Acne and Diet
It’s been years, that doctors have claimed that there is no connection between acne and diet. Yet there are proofs that confirm such a link between the variety of food intake and acne. Does diet really have a role in the management and control of acne? Is there a cure diet for acne?
How ever the truth is that people suffering from acne have complained that their situation seem to get worse by the consumption of certain food items and on the other hand certain food gave them a positive result in the prevention of acne. Therefore, not on medical terms, yet it has been established that there is a relationship between acne and diet.
The above statement is not 100% true. Acne and diet do maintain a relationship but does not entirely depend upon it. How ever the fact is, food intake should be well organized in order to prevent acne.
So the question now is why is diet important?
Today, junk food stuffs have become a regular part of our diet. All age groups are taking high intakes of oily food daily without any consideration to their health. Refined carbohydrates and sugar have more insulin content in them which when processed by the system of our body generates more of oil which in turn leads to the birth of more bacteria in the system.
The control of this particular type of bacteria cannot be easily stopped and the result comes out in form of acne. Control of acne and diet balance is thus justified. Certain foods definitely aggravate the outbreak of such kind of bacteria in the body.
One should take preventive measures to control acne and diet which should be followed very sincerely. The first step towards this can be cutting on certain foods. Eating more foods that can help lessen acne so that your skin condition can improve is the first and the simplest of all steps. Increase your intake of light food like fruits, raw vegetables, salad and grains. Since acne and diet are closely related, you can also subscribe to a daily dose of vitamins and minerals if it is not possible to maintain a healthy diet due to your busy schedule.
Then again, you can always consult your doctor from time to time, or you could ask for an allergy/food bigotry test. He is the person who can best explain to you the perfect relationship between acne and diet.
